We have devised our Red Light, Yellow Light, Green Light rating system based on biblical standards of what a follower of Christ should or should not subject himself to. We believe there are games that are generally ok for Christians to play, others that a Christian person should absolutely not play and some that should be played with caution or not at all based on a persons personal convictions. There are 3 possible ratings:

Green light games are deemed by our staff to be free from content that is inappropriate according to biblical standards.

Yellow Light games have some inappropriate content that is reasonably avoidable and needs to be reviewed by the individual player before determining whether he/she should play. Games given a yellow light will be accompanied by an explaination of how inappropriate content can be avoided. Caution is advised and we urge you to pray about whether playing this game is right for you.

Red light games have been determined to contain unavoidable inappropriate content that we have deemed is unbiblical for a Christian to play. We do not endorse these games and we urge you to avoid them completely.
Our definition of 'inappropriate content':
Our definition of inappropriate content is any content which the bible specifically tells us to avoid.
Language (includeing hateful speech)
Psalm 34:13 - keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies.
Colossians 4:6 - 6 Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. NIV
James 3:9-12 - 9 With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. 10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be. 11 Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? 12 My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water. NIV
Proverbs 25:11 - 11 A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver. NIV
Sexual/Lustful content
Matt 5:28 - But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Job 31:1 - "I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a girl.
Proverbs 6:25 - Do not lust in your heart after her beauty or let her captivate you with her eyes,
Colossians 3:5 - Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
